Share Your Input on the Future Land Use Direction For the PA-1 Specific Plan Planning Area

As an important early step in the development of the PA-1 Specific Plan, the Working Group appointed by the City Council has formulated three initial Land Use Alternatives for the Planning Area. The alternatives, focused on the area immediately surrounding a future eBART station at the intersection of the Mokelumne Trail and State Route 4, identify different approaches to supporting the creation of jobs within the city, while providing residents with additional housing, retail, entertainment, and recreational options. In preparation for the City Council selecting the Specific Plan’s Preferred Land Use Alternative later this year, the City would like to receive your input on the alternatives. Please click here to learn more about the PA-1 Specific Plan and to complete a brief survey on the alternatives.

Welcome to the Priority Area 1 (PA-1) Specific Plan website. This website provides up-to-date information on the Specific Plan process. PA-1 is a 373-acre project site located in the northwest corner of Brentwood, and is a projected focal point for jobs and mixed-use development. The Specific Plan will create the precise criteria for the growth and development of PA-1 by establishing a vision for the area, identifying uses desired and allowed in PA-1, and planning for infrastructure improvements to support future development.

As documents for the PA-1 Specific Plan are prepared, they will be placed on this site. Information regarding upcoming workshops and meetings will be posted to this site and meeting materials will also be placed on this website.

Community members and interested persons are encouraged to provide input in the PA-1 process and are invited to attend the Community Workshops, Planning Commission, and City Council meetings regarding the Specific Plan - visit the Meetings and Events page for information, including meeting dates and materials, on upcoming meetings.
